Bye April, Hello May!

It’s unbelievable how time flies, really.

Well then, in May, I’d like to…

  • Stop procrastinating
  • Study harder
  • Get good grades for MYE
  • Start handing up ALL my Overdued Homework
  • Hang out with all my awesome friends
  • Listen in Class more
  • Give out all those really really Overdued Presents I owe everybody

Speaking of this, MYE is in 8 days, and being the procrastinator I am reknowned for, I have not even opened any of my books and mugged at all.

Simply put, School these days are like Concentration Camps or something. It’s insane how Teachers give us a whole Mountain of Homework, and expects us to complete it the next day. I am so used to going Home after the Sun sets, that I find it weird to be back Home latest by 3.

Right now, I’d literally trade anything in for another year in Primary Schooling. I’d rather sit for PSLE again than go Home at 7, I’d rather trade a few hours of Shopping for more hours of Sleep. When would Teachers ever understand that we need adequate amounts of sleep, I ask.

OKAY STEPH, GET YOUR FINGERS OFF THE KEYBOARD AND GET YOUR ASS BACK TO MUGGING.

You saw that. Will post soon.

xoxoxo,

Steph. :)

Don’t Cry Because It’s Over, Smile Because It Happened. - Dr. Seuss

(Credits to Elin Ma’am)

Official Sec 4 Farewell for CrezGuides’10 took place yesterday.

Well, things did not turn out the way I expected. Woke up at 4 to fry all those Nuggets, Fishballs and Sausages. You can practically see the Dark Ring of Eye Bags below my Eyes now, damnit. Rushed all the way to School to be greeted by Rachel panicking because Kellie didn’t bring the Table Cloth for the Food Table. == Then Rachel had the ‘sudden inspiration’ to go to Coleen’s House to borrow Table Cloths cause she stayed the nearest to the School. You should have seen her panicking. Funny ttm. :)

Being in charged of the food with Rachel, Elyse and Isabel proved to be a vexing and challenging task for us to handle. But despite all these difficulties which laid ahead of us, everything went well after all the Food and Drinks were set up. Oh sheesh, the Drinks. Talking about the Drinks makes me shudder already. There wasn’t any Ice available at Cheers, so Rachel and I had to take a Cab, yes take a Cab, to Redhill MRT Station (Yes, we had such a time constrain) to buy Ice at 7-Eleven. Crushing those Ice with our foot while on the Taxi Ride back to School, and we were fighting over who to pay the Cab Fare. :B

Things went well despite all these obstacles which prevented this Farewell from being successful, and Mrs M said the food was nice, so I guess I’ve got to go raise my Maid’s salary for this month. :) Started tearing when Yi Tong Ma’am gave her speech, especially when she said the sentence ‘So I guess it’s also time for me to say goodbye.’

All I want to say to all the Ma’ams, especially Thivya Ma’am and Li Xuan Ma’am, is that they have provided me with a wonderful experience in this past year of Guides, and I would never ever forget them, because I won’t be able to, even if I tried to. (Oh sheesh, so naggy!)

So anyways, I’d like to applaud Zhi Han (Ma’am) for being appointed CL for both COYS, and Joyce (Ma’am) and Audrey (Ma’am) for being the ACL for both COY 1 and 2 respectively. :)

Oh well. Shall be good for once and listen in to Bio Class.

xoxoxo,

Steph. :)

Ixora.

To dream of Ixora means a NEW PASSION or RELATIONSHIP is soon to come.

We had our last official Guide Meeting with the Sec 4’10 batch today.

It was only till today that I found out what a Commander truely has for her Batch at Heart. It was only till today that I realised Menakah Ma’am truely means well of us. Fighting with Mrs M for Bonding Time with us, bickering with the Sec 3’s just so she can have that one moment more of Bonding with her Batch. All she needs was that one moment, that last moment. Regardless if it is just 1 second, 1 minute or an hour.

I didn’t seem to take this last Patrol Corner with Li Xuan Ma’am and Thivya Ma’am seriously, but as I saw those tears trickling down the faces of Serena Ma’am, Pei Jun, and Rachel, yes, Rachel, I felt a sense of remorse as I was dreading the fact of standing in the Basketball Court for the Practice for the Enrolment Ceremony, with my Knees buckling and sweat trickling down my Back.

I find it hilarious how you don’t really treasure those around you, till they actually are gone. I am just so taken aback by how time flies so fast, I had hardly enough time to learn what exactly is going on around me. It’s as though I come to School one day, to find out my Patrol Second is out newly appointed Company Leader for COY 1, and the next second, she’s about to step down.

Writing ‘Romantic Letters’ for both my Ma’ams now, and it cheers me up just looking back at all the fun we had during this past 2 years. Seeing those tears welled up in Li Xuan Ma’ams eyes prompted me to give her a hug. It’s good to know that someone/some people will actually remember us once they step down.

Okay, it’s getting late. I shall go back to writing my 报章报道 and 公函, damnit.

xoxoxo,

Steph. :)

I see you have stumbled upon my Tumblelog. This is probably the 982459726846th blog I have ever created since I have appeared on the surface of the Earth, but oh well.

I shall commit myself to blogging practically everyday, no matter what happens. :) Someone praise me for making such a humongous commitment please! Cross my Heart I will keep this Tumblelog very much alive with pictures and words, I presume.

Okay, I had better get back to doing my Homework.

Will post tomorrow, I promise.
